Hi, I’m Traci D. Ellis, an Elgin, IL attorney who focuses on business law, family law, and real estate law for small businesses and individuals in the Northwest Chicago Suburbs. I am known for “keeping it real” with my clients and bringing a practical approach to addressing legal matters. That means that I tell you the truth, keep you informed and don’t spend all of your money to do it.
In case you’re interested, I earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida A&M University, School of Business & Industry and a J.D. (a doctorate in law) from The Ohio State University, College of Law. I am licensed to practice in Illinois and Georgia.
In addition to my law practice, I am very active in my community. I was elected to a 4 year term as a member of the Elgin School District U-46 Board in 2011 and am also a member of the board of directors for the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Neighborhood Association and Administer Justice (a nonprofit law firm that provides free legal services to low income clients).
I am married to my childhood sweetheart and we are the proud parents of two sons, 23 and 19 years old.
